This year’s Strawberry moon, as June’s full moon is known, lands on Friday the 13^th – a full moon on this day in the month of June hasn’t happened since 1919. It will be the first Friday the 13th full moon since October 13, 2000 and possibly the last until October 13, 2049. Whether you believe in superstition or not – it’s often said that people act differently during a full moon and that our living cells are electrified by it. Toss in the Friday the 13^th for good superstitious measure and we have ourselves a day that’s thought to be unlucky as well. While I’m not big on lucky/unlucky superstitions, I guess we’ll find out soon enough! Here’s hoping you have a happy, uneventful Friday the 13th Strawberry Moon!
